Q: Is a Lifetime Key a subscription?
A: A Lifetime Key is a single purchase license that is attached to your Roland Account, includes all future updates, can be signed in on up to five devices, and does not require a paid membership.
Q: Can I use a Lifetime Key with my membership?
A: Yes! You can use your Lifetime Key(s) with a monthly or annual membership, though it is not required.
Q: Do I get a free Lifetime Key every 12 months?
A: If you have signed up during the YOURS program promotional period (ended 12/31/2018), there is one key awarded every twelve months. If you have signed up during the Play 2 4 Life promotion (ended 12/31/2019), there were two keys awarded per 12 months of paid membership. If you signed up for the Play 4 Life promotion (from 11/25/2020 - 12/31/2020) there is one key awarded with the purchase of a Pro Annual membership or two keys awarded with the purchase of an Ultimate Annual promotion. Otherwise, Lifetime Keys are available as single purchase licenses at any time. For assistance with your account, please follow the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.
Q: Does a Lifetime Key still need to authorize?
A: Lifetime Keys will need to connect to the internet through Roland Cloud Manager once every seven days. For smoothest operation, we recommend connecting to the internet, and opening Roland Cloud Manager once every seven days. This will keep your instruments authorized and then you’re good to go for another week.

Q: Can I stack the Play 4 Life promotion and Zen-Core Fully Loaded offers together?
A: Yes, however, the Pro membership that comes with the Zen-Core Fully Loaded begins upon registration of your Zen-Core hardware, and does not subsequently add time to the term of the Play 4 Life Promotion. If you have any other questions regarding your account, please hit Contact Us at the bottom of this page.
Q: Can I add the Play 4 Life promotion to my account if I joined during the YOURS promotion, or the Play 2 4 Life promotion?
A: Yes. For additional support please hit the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.
