The DW Jazz Series Maple Gum kit features seven-ply hybrid gum shells that start with a three-ply core of 1/20" gumwood sandwiched between maple plies without reinforcement hoops. Pairing the soft gumwood with hard maple yields a bright sound with medium sustain and a round bottom end, providing rich tones that are suitable for everything from bebop to pop. This collection includes two gumwood/maple snare and kick drums, each offering a subtly different feel.
V-Drums Instrument Expansions allow you to add new sounds to the V71, V51, and V31 modules, including complete multi-sampled acoustic drum sets, vintage and modern electronic sounds, and more. Each title provides finely tuned kits that are ready to play with no adjustment necessary. You can freely mix and match drums with the module’s onboard sound library and other installed expansions to create customized kits.
