This DW Soundworks Software Expansion Pack, DW MFG True-Cast Snare Drums, features the sounds of the rare, collectible True-Cast snares. Developed with DW artist Dave Elitch and DW's R&D team, the True-Cast snare was built with a sand-cast, contoured, and machined Bell Bronze shell. These snare drums deliver fat attack and thick punch and cut with a dark, earthy tonality for aggressive rock and heavy metal.
This updated expansion pack features two new snare drums (7x14” and Dave Elitch’s personal 8x14”), two remastered versions (5x14” and 6.5x14”), and the original 5x14 version. Features:
· Beefy sound with a fat, low-end punch
· Great for aggressive rock to heavy metal
· Sand-Cast Bell Bronze shells (5x14”, 6.5x14”, 7x14” 8x14”)
· Sampled at 24-bit, 88.2 kHz
· Recorded at DW’s studio
